目的
To provide guidance on the 情况下 in which a tuition refund is issued to credit 非学分学生.
政策
A 100 percent tuition and fees refund shall not be made after the beginning of the semester/session for credit students or after the beginning of the first class meeting 非学分学生. 学生 may request an exception in the case of extenuating 情况下. Requests for exceptions are referred to the 退还学费 Appeals 检讨委员会.

- If a student officially drops or withdraws from a credit or non-credit class prior
to and during the semester/session, tuition shall be refunded according to the following

Non-credit classes over 30 clock hours
- 100%的学费 & 所有费用 – Prior to first day of class
- 100%的学费, no refund of fees – The day before 10% of class meeting days
- 50% of tuition, no refund of fees – The day before 15% of class meeting days
- 25% of tuition, no refund of fees – The day before 20% of class meeting days
- No refund of tuition or fees – From 20% of class meeting days onward
All other non-credit classes
- 100%的学费 & 所有费用 – Prior to first day of class
- 100%的学费, no refund of fees – No refunds after day prior to first class meeting day
- Upon 校董会 approval of the 校历, tuition refund dates for standard length courses are established according to the 时间表 指出 above and published with the registration add/drop dates.
- If a student officially drops or withdraws from a Workforce Development and Continuing Education class prior to the start of the first class session, a 100 percent tuition 应退款. For classes under 30 clock hours, no refunds are made after 课程开始. Noncredit classes 30 clock hours and over, will follow the refund 以上时间表. Fees for non-credit materials, books, and supplies are not refundable. Exceptions are referred to the 退还学费 Appeals 检讨委员会.
- A 100 percent refund of tuition and fees shall be made if the College cancels a class.
- 学生 may appeal tuition charges under certain extenuating 情况下, such 作为疾病. Related questions should be directed to 学费appeals@ay-yasida.com.
- Courses that are dropped and added simultaneously are exempt.
- Exceptions to the policy are at the discretion of the College Bursar.
